Why Radish?
The name Radish has been with me a little longer than the business has.
When I was pregnant with my daughter, I found a little felt radish on a wall hanging for her nursery. It became one of the pieces that sparked the farmers-market theme for her room—and, in a small way, represented the beginning of a completely new chapter in my life: becoming a Mom.
Years later, as I found myself ready to begin another new chapter, I kept coming back to that little radish.
This time, the transition wasn’t into motherhood, but into something of my own—becoming a business owner and creating a space for all the things I love: bringing people together, finding fun little details, and making celebrations feel memorable.
And honestly, Radish just felt right.
It’s colorful. It’s playful. It’s a little unexpected. It makes you smile.
So Radish became the name—and a little reminder that sometimes the best things grow out of the chapters you never planned.
